Miniaturized Pervasive Sensors for Indoor Health Monitoring in Smart Cities

Sensors and electronics technologies are pivotal in several fields of science engineering, especially automation, industry environment monitoring. Over the years, there have been continuous changes advancements design miniaturization sensors with growth their application areas. Challenges arisen deployment, fabrication calibration modern sensors. Therefore, although usage has greatly helped improving quality life, through employment many IoT (Internet Things) applications, some threats safety issues still remain unaddressed. In this paper, a brief review focusing on pervasive used for health indoor monitoring is given. Examples technology air, water radioactivity discussed. This bird’s eye view suggests that solid-state become essential parts all emerging applications related to safety. Miniaturization, combination gamification approaches machine learning techniques processing large amounts captured data, can successfully address solve massive deployment. The development paradigm Smart Cities should include both outdoor scenarios.
